Our honoree will be Lawrence County Commissioner\, Dan Vogler\, for his years of support to the society and Lawrence County. \n\n\n\nVogler Brief Bio: Dan served two terms on the Lawrence County Historical Society board in the 1980s and has been a strong supporter of the society\, its programs\, and the history and preservation of the county. He currently is the Lawrence County commissioner\, a position he has held since 2004\, and sits on the county election and prison boards. Previous career positions include: Chairman of the County commission board (12 years)\, Director of governmental affairs for Pennsylvania Power\, Director of United Way\, Neshannock Township supervisor. DESCRIPTION:Historical Society to Recognize Stephanie Fulena at Annual Dinner \n\n\n\nCome join us September 13th for an evening of entertainment and friendship. \n\n\n\n> 6:00 pm Social Hour> 6:30 pm Buffet Dinner catered by the Faraone Brothers> BYOB – mixers available \n\n\n\nHonoree Stephanie Fulena has been working with the Historical Society for over twenty-five years. As a teacher at Union Middle/High School\, she collaborated with Beverly Zona to develop programs for her gifted students on local architecture and other subjects. Fulena has been the Lawrence County Trivia advisor since it began in the 1980’s. As a Key Club Advisor at Union\, she also began the tradition of having Union Key Club high school students decorate the Greer-Clavelli Mansion for the Christmas Season. This tradition continues with her daughter\, Rose Ann\, and Rose Ann’s Union High School Student Council members each year. \n\n\n\nSince her retirement ten years ago\, Stephanie has acted as coordinator and moderator of Trivia. In 2002\, Fulena became a member of the Board of Directors of the Historical Society.
