The sensational true story of love-bandits Irene Crawford Shrader and Walter Glenn Dague. These West Virginia natives blazed a trail of strong-armed robberies, vehicle thefts, bold kidnappings, and police shootouts from Pennsylvania to Arizona in 1929 – 1930.
The book, “Iron Irene”, will be available for purchase at this event.
Learn of the brazen robbery on Friday, December 27, 1929 in downtown Butler and the subsequent shooting of Corporal Brady Paul on the New Castle-Butler Road.
